The Firs underwent a comprehensive refurbishment. All floors were removed and re-laid with water and electric underfloor heating throughout. The ground floor was finished with engineered oak. Structural steelwork was installed to open up the kitchen and utility areas, while preserving as much of the original stone structure as possible. The project included all new windows and doors, bespoke cabinetry, and custom panelling throughout. New bathrooms with both bath and shower facilities were added, and the main house was fully re-insulated. The front façade was removed and replaced with new stonework, designed to match the original house. The garden was landscaped to include a boules area, outdoor kitchen, and seating area. The front drive and entrance were reconfigured to include a new oak garage with stone tiles.
